Warehouse Manager
Our client, is the largest Tile Manufacturing Company in Kenya. The company deals with production of Ceramic tiles and it is located in Kisumu. The company is seeking to hire a Warehouse Manager.

Location. Kisumu

Duties and Responsibilities:
Organize and lead subordinates to carry out warehouse management work according to the assigned plan and task to ensure the completion of the plan and task
When the goods arrive at the warehouse, arrange the unloading area, the division of labor and the unloading order according to the principle of the division of the warehouse area
When shipping, check the delivery variety and quantity according to the remarks of the delivery note, and sign the issuance order.
Preside over the morning task arrangement meeting, and implement the daily work arrangement, and assign the task to each porter.
Assist the supervisor in the evaluation of subordinate employees.
Responsible for the requisition and issuance of various expenses of the department
Assist the warehouse manager to implement warehouse safety and fire management, and do a good job in fire prevention, anti-theft, moisture-proof, etc.
Assist the warehouse manager to take inventory, find out the reasons for the profit and loss, and provide reference opinions for processing.
Complete other tasks assigned by superiors temporarily.

Education and other qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Logistics/Supply Chain management or relevant field major is preferred.
More than 8 years of experience as warehouse supervisor or manager, 3 of which must be in Management.
Experience in ceramic factory, familiar with the warehouse operation processes is a plus.
Experience from local large-scale manufacturing companies, multinational corporations with experience in multi-regional and ethnic co-working.
Master the use of office software especially Excel.
Experience from local large-scale manufacturing companies preferred.
Role could involve working overtime
Strong execution and personality
