Job Purpose
The job holder will be responsible for the timely receiving and dispatch of dry goods while keeping proper safe custody of the finished/materials stock and records as per the laid down policies and procedures.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Receive all the in-bound stock items from contracted suppliers, production /other warehouses, external customers and third parties into the store after due evaluation in line with the laid down policies and procedures.
- Confirm that the received stock items against approved LPOs/Indents conform to the set quality standards requirements and are correctly and promptly posted into bin cards and system.
- Collate , follow up for approvals and submit all payment receipts, delivery notes, Goods Receipt Notes, Inspection & Acceptance Forms, and invoices to finance and / or customer service in a timely manner to facilitate update of customer balances and processing of payments.
- Promptly issue items held in stock to the relevant recipients in correct quantities and in accordance with the approved policies and procedures.
- Ensure no stoppages and interruption of production plan by ensuring materials have been issued in correct quantities and quality, and that material balances have been reconciled fully in a timely manner.
- Advice the Store Controller on any foreseeable risk and when the stock levels reach the re-order levels as per procedure/work instructions.
- Facilitate regular/monthly stock takes in the assigned stores, besides daily reconciliation and account for any variances.
- Prepare and complete all necessary paperwork or data entry for production, quality, and safety records relating to the store.
- Ensure goods received are properly arranged/stacked in accordance with pre-marked lot/batch numbers with clear gangways left between adjacent stacks to facilitate an effective stock rotation/FIFO.
- Coordinate for proper housekeeping, and a safety environment of the returnable Bottle’s Yard and the Satellite Bottle Warehouses.
Minimum Requirements
- A diploma in stores management or related field
- At least 2 years’ stores management experience in a similar environment. .
- Practical experience in use of MS packages and ERP systems.
Competencies/Attributes
- Must have excellent attendance record and be available for appropriate training.
- Ability to be flexible on a daily basis to meet the needs of the business.
- Willingness to work necessary overtime as required.
- Must be able to work well with team members.
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percents).
- High level of integrity.
Store Clerk- Nairobi
- Location. Nairobi

Store Controller
- Location. Nairobi
Job Purpose
The job holder will be responsible for the effective stock control/management and offer an effective and efficient customer service delivery to all stakeholders and other regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Receive in-bound finished goods from other warehouses to confirm the accurate transfer and condition of goods as per the stock policy and inspection of goods procedures.
- Ensure the goods received are properly arranged or stacked in accordance with pre-marked lot/batch numbers with clear aisles / gangways left between adjacent stacks.
- Coordinate and accurately maintain and update (real-time) bin cards and system posting for all the stock movements goods in the assigned stores at all times.
- Accurately dispatch out-bound goods to the various company warehouses and customers, and ensure correct documentation for each dispatched consignment.
- Keep proper custody of all stocks and store keys in the assigned store, responsible for opening and closing the store at the start and end of every day shift in line with the warehousing policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper disbursement and accountability of the allocated depot petty cash as per laid down procedures
- Plan and oversee the arrangement and cleaning of the assigned warehouse/store at all times as per the Healthy, Safety and Environment requirements.
- Ensure timely renewal of Depot licences in line with the required local laws and regulations
- Ensure proper stock rotation is practiced in the warehouse at all times and that First-in-First-Out (FIFO) rule is strictly observed and adhered to eliminate expiries on shelf-life products as per stock policy/procedures.
- Conduct regular stock checks and weekly/monthly stock-takes of all stocks in the warehouse and account justifiably for any observed stock variances promptly as per laid down stock procedures.
- Carry out daily and or weekly ‘cross referencing’ on stock reconciliation/movements and ensure that the physical stocks, Bin Cards and the System stock status/history transactions tally at all times. Any variances so detected must be reported to the Warehouse Supervisor at once with full justifications thereof for corrective action.
- Coordinate and prepare weekly analysis on work plans and resources mobilization/requirements in liaison with the controlling Manager including accomplished tasks, pending tasks, scheduled assignments and stock order cycles.
- Coordinate effectively handling of customer product returns from customer service/sales as per product return guidelines and customer complaint policy/procedures.
- Daily planning of resources including labour, space and machinery to ensure maximum utilisation of the same in a cost effective manner.
Minimum Requirements
- A Bachelors’ degree in a business related field.
- A certificate in East Africa Customs and Freight Forwarders Practicing Certificate (EACFFPC) – will be an added advantage.
- At least three (3) years’ experience in stock management with at least one (I) year being in a supervisory position in a similar organisation.
- Practical experience in use of MS packages and ERP systems.
